How do I begin the process of buying a home?

The first step in the financing process is to meet with a lender and complete a loan application. Your lender will then review your application and determine the best mortgage program for you and the maximum loan amount you qualify for.

The following is a list of some of the information you may need:

Pay stubs for the past 2-3 months
W-2 forms for the past 2 years
Information on long-term debts
Recent bank statements
Tax returns for the past 2 years
Proof of any other income
Address and description of the property you wish to buy
Sales contract
